Bosch goes „green“

Ahead of the Rio+20 Summit, business representatives discussed the opportunities, risks, and basic conditions of a global green economy approach at the Business Action Day for Sustainable Development.

The focus repeatedly returned to companies that already take a sustainable approach to business. On behalf of his company, Besaliel S. Botelho, President of Robert Bosch Latin America, reported on the potential savings in the automotive sector. The international participants came to one important conclusion. They agreed that business and politics must do more in future to raise awareness of successful sustainability concepts from the private sector – and speed up the transition to an ecological and socially responsible approach to business.

Bosch has been committed to the basic principles of the green economy for many years. The company takes a low-carbon, resource-efficient and socially responsible approach to business.
