The Bosch Group comprises a multitude of regional companies, subsidiaries and affiliated companies. Historical Communications (C/CCH) provides a permanent home for all materials already supplied to the archive by the companies.
This inventory group includes the archive on “Blaupunkt”, for example. More than 70 years ago, Bosch took over the Berlin-based radio manufacturer Ideal-Werke. A short time later, the company was renamed “Blaupunkt” to reflect its trademark symbol, a blue dot. The Blaupunkt inventory comprises approximately 45 shelf meters of documents, including advertising brochures, business documents, product descriptions, product ranges, price lists, customer service documents and magazines.

Another inventory contains the heritage of Bosch Thermotechnology. When Bosch took over the production of gas appliances from Hugo Junkers in Dessau in 1932, it added another area to its business alongside automotive technology. The inventory contains approximately 15 shelf meters of documents about the take-over of the company, business documents, press releases, advertising brochures, financial reports, annual reports and much more.
