Bernd Bohr has been a member of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH since July 1, 1999. He is responsible for quality management and automotive systems integration, and the Chassis Systems Brakes, Diesel Systems, and Gasoline Systems divisions as well as Steering Systems. He has been chairman of the Automotive Group since mid-2003. He also has responsibility for India.

Bernd Bohr was born in Mannheim, Germany, on September 7, 1956, and is married. After leaving school in 1975, he studied Production Engineering at the University of Aachen, taking his diploma examination in 1982. He received his doctorate in Engineering (Dr.Ing.) at the same university in 1983.
