A life-changing experience
Every year, approximately 20 percent of apprentices do part of their training in a location abroad. This has the dual purpose of creating closer ties and preparing the young Bosch associates for an international career.
For example, mechatronics or electronics apprentices from Waiblingen can spend five weeks gathering experience in a packaging plant near Bangkok. They assemble machinery parts, wire switching cabinets, and prepare process sequences together with their Thai co-workers. Here, the apprentices Jan Eckardt and Patrick Nickels describe their adventure in Asia.
