Bosch is committed to actively helping to shape climate protection. By 2020, the corporate target is to cut carbon dioxide emissions related to our own value added by at least 20 percent compared to 2007 levels and to improve energy efficiency by 20 percent. Against this backdrop, the company is implementing measures in every division that will increase energy efficiency and reduce the carbon dioxide emissions that impact the climate.

A look at the figures shows that Bosch is well on track. In 2013, the company consumed approximately eight percent less energy than in 2007. CO2 emissions in this period were two percent (absolute) or 16 percent (relative) lower. In some plants, it was possible to achieve reductions in emissions of over 30 percent.
