We aim to develop ‘technology for life’ . Our commitment to sustainability, to the ‘long term’, is deep in our DNA. More than 400 of our locations are already CO₂-neutral, yet we want to do more to reduce our impact on the climate. As a GmbH, we are independent of stock markets and 94% of our company shares are held by the non-profit Robert Bosch Foundation. Through them, our company profits flow into non-profit projects and organisations in the fields of health, education and global issues. A future built on our past: Our history

A company with a past, a job with a future.

We can only shape tomorrow by building on our shared history. In 1886 Robert Bosch founded the "Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering" in Stuttgart. This ignited our global organisation. We were shaped by innovation and social commitment from the start. We continue to reinvent and remodel our business, but those foundation stones remain.
