Diversity, equity, and inclusion

We value diversity and consider the uniqueness of every person — in their perspectives, educational and cultural backgrounds, as well as personal qualities — to be critical to our business success. Committed to providing equal opportunities, we enable all associates to develop their full potential within an inclusive working environment and a culture in which everyone can flourish and contribute to our “Invented for life” purpose.

Diversity

We value diversity and consider the uniqueness of every person – in their perspectives, educational and cultural backgrounds, as well as personal qualities – to be critical to our business success.

Gender diversity

We aim to overcome potential barriers to ensure equal opportunities for everyone who joins and grows with our company.

Cultural diversity / internationality

We support internationality and cultural diversity by promoting a global mindset at all organizational levels.

Generations

We collaborate across generations, recognizing the uniqueness of our associates as well as the strengths of different life experiences and adapt our tools and leadership culture accordingly.

Diverse physical and mental abilities

We support the diverse abilities and neurodiversity of Bosch associates.

Making development measurable

In 2025, the workforce at Bosch included 28.2 percent of women (prior year: 28.9 percent), and the proportion of female executives was 21.1 percent (prior year: 20.4 percent). Bosch has set an aspirational target of increasing the proportion of female executives to 25 percent by 2030.

Furthermore, from 2025 onwards, we aim to increase the proportion of female executives in top management to 19 percent by 2030 (baseline year 2024). The current proportion is 15.1 percent.

Bosch complies with local laws and makes employment decisions based on merit and performance, not gender or other protected characteristics.

Equity

We are committed to providing equal opportunities so that all associates can develop their full potential.

Zero tolerance for discrimination

Discrimination, bullying and harassment in the workplace can occur in various forms. At Bosch, we do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment or bullying of any kind.

Equal opportunities

We are committed to raising awareness of and reducing bias and offering equal opportunities to all associates so that everyone can unleash their full potential.

150 nations

People from around 150 nations work together for Bosch.

Inclusion

We promote an inclusive working environment and a culture in which all associates can flourish and contribute to our “Invented for life” purpose.

Unique strengths

We strive to recognize and leverage each person’s unique strengths to improve team performance.

Belonging

We cultivate a sense of belonging and well-being.

Respectful cooperation

Bosch fundamentally condemns discrimination and racism

At Bosch, we stand for respectful cooperation and we are setting clear signals against discrimination and racism. We have been dealing with the topic “unconscious bias” for years and thus we are promoting the reflective handling of prejudices and stereotypes. Workshops have been held around the world in which associates address the influence of unconscious bias on their actions.

Potential cases of discrimination are systematically pursued at Bosch. If associates feel discriminated against, they can turn to various contact persons. This includes managers, HR, and diversity coordinators. In Germany, for example, there is also the option of approaching the social counseling service or the workers council. In addition, possible misconduct, such as cases of discrimination, racism, or harassment, can be reported online in a secure and confidential way via the Bosch reporting system. You can use the postbox in the online reporting tool to chat anonymously with the Compliance Department.
