Connected mobility means less traffic jams and greater security — they are just two of the benefits that connected cars offer. Via the Internet of Things (IoT), such vehicles communicate with each other and with a Cloud. It means that they for instance warn each another about black ice or recognize free parking spaces on a digital map and then steer their way to them. When it comes to the mobility of the future, the automotive industry is counting on connected solutions that make road traffic safer, save time and simultaneously help reduce CO₂ emissions.
